COASTAL FIVE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM 2026

Coastal Five isn’t just a race weekend.
It’s 5 events. 2 days. 42.5km of challenge, community and coastal grit.

And we’re building a crew to help us grow it.

Applications are now open for our 2026 Coastal Five Ambassadors — including two Active Kids Ambassadors (Under 12).

We’re looking for legends. Not just fast runners.

People who inspire others.
People who lift communities.
People who believe challenge makes you stronger.

Open to all ages.

You might be:

  • Training for your first 5K

  • Taking on the Coastal Half

  • A run club hype machine

  • A parent juggling it all

  • A seasoned marathoner chasing something new

If you can bring energy, authenticity and community spirit — we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Receive:

  • Return Air New Zealand flights to New Plymouth

  • Free entry to your chosen Coastal Five event

  • Tsunami Sportswear Ambassador kit

  • Shoe Clinic voucher

  • Additional sponsor support (where confirmed)

  • A personal 15% discount code for your community

  • Website + social media features

What’s Expected:

  • Minimum 2 feed posts per month

  • Regular story updates during key campaign periods

  • Community engagement and promotion

  • Attendance at event weekend

  • Positive representation of the Coastal Five brand

Ambassadors agree not to actively promote competing events during the ambassador term unless agreed with Coastal Five in advance.

Performance and engagement will be considered for future ambassador selection.

ACTIVE KIDS AMBASSADORS (UNDER 12)

Because legends start somewhere.

We’re selecting:

  • 1 x Active Kids Male Ambassador

  • 1 x Active Kids Female Ambassador

This is about fun. Confidence. And inspiring other kids to move.

They’ll Receive:

  • Free entry for themselves

  • Free entry for a friend

  • Finish line recognition

  • 10 free Mile race entries to gift to their school
