Event Plan Under Level 2

What are the Government Guidelines for Events in Level 2?

  • No restrictions on mass gatherings if within a defined event facility. This applies to Lake Managamahoe Cross Country, Pukekura 5km, Pukeiti 10km Climb (see changes to the event below).
  • Where an event is not within a defined event facility it is limited to 100 people per defined area. This applies to the Coastal Half Marathon and the Shoe Clinic Devon Mile.
  • All participants must practice social distancing of 1 metre from people that they do not know at all times. This means no Hugs or High fives outside people you do not know.
  • An event must manage their numbers to ensure that every individual or group of people is kept 1 metre apart within the venue.
  • All Staff must wear masks and socially distance at minimum of 1m.
