Active Kids are for ages 0-11 years. 12 years old and above are still encouraged to take part and will enter the event as a student.

Devon Mile:

• 10 and 11 years old can run on their own.
• 0-9 years need an adult to accompany them. The adult must also register for the event.

Pukekura Park and Lake Mangamahoe:

All Active Kids participants need to have an adult responsible for them throughout the event.

Yes, an adult is able to run with more than one child but it is their responsibility to ensure that they stay together at all times during the run.

Yes! One lucky Active Kid will win a sports prize pack for their school valued at over $500.  Enter your school name in the Active Kids race registration and the school receives a ticket in the draw for every child entered.

Yes, as part of their entry each child receives a medal at the end of their race plus a Coastal Five t-shirt at registration.
