All half marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal. Random draw spot prizes will be awarded at prizegiving.

This half marathon has it all! Beaches, trails, lakes, walkways, rivers... you will not get bored with this run.
We start the morning by the black sands of Ngamotu Beach before heading towards town along the main road of St Aubyn Street.
At our infamous Wind Wand (a 48 metre kinetic sculpture) we turn in and take in the Coastal views along the waterfront walkway.
If you're into surfing you'll be able to check out the waves as the half marathon takes us past the local surf lifesaving clubs and past Fitzroy Beach.
For those visiting from outside Taranaki tick the Te Rewa Rewa Bridge of your sightseeing list as the run heads past the bridge and Lake Rotomanu.
In fact there is so much to see just in the half marathon that you won't need to do much sightseeing. After the bridge we hit the trails and the run follows the Waiwakaiho River before heading through a few local streets where the supporters will be out in force.
Our last trail takes us along the Te Henui Stream, a favourite for dog walkers, mountain bikers and of course runners. If it's warm the shade of the trees will cool you off as the track brings us back to the beaches and the Coastal Walkway.
The last 4km is straight back along the coast with the finish at Ngamotu Beach.
