PUKEITI 10KM CLIMB

The Pukeiti Climb starts at 7:00am. Bus transport from TSB Stadium begins from 6:20am, with the final buses departing at 6:35am. Please arrive early to allow time for transport and pre-race setup.

Bus transport between TSB Stadium, the start line at Pouakai Zoo, and return from Pukeiti is included in your entry fee. Full transport timings and details can be found in the Transport Information section above.

Yes — runners are welcome to leave earlier on one of the smaller return buses if space is available. These buses will begin returning via Okato once the first participants finish and can accommodate 48 people.

The main buses will depart Pukeiti once the majority of runners have completed the course, approximately 8:20am.

Limited supporter parking at Pukeiti may be made available closer to race day once final transport numbers are confirmed.

If released, supporter vehicle passes will need to be booked in advance. More information will be shared with participants closer to the event.

The event starts near Pouakai Zoo and finishes at Pukeiti, making this a true point-to-point challenge through the rolling climbs of Carrington Road.

Yes — participants can leave a bag at the start area, which will be transported to the finish at Pukeiti.

Yes — there will be a water and electrolyte station just before halfway, along with hydration available at the finish line at Pukeiti.

If you’re comfortable covering 10km and prepared for hills, absolutely give it a crack. You can run, jog, or take things at your own pace — the goal is to enjoy the challenge and reach the finish line at Pukeiti.

Participants who complete the Pukeiti Climb as a stand-alone race receive an official finisher medal 🏅

Those entered in the Full Coastal 42.2km will receive their medal when the finish the 42.2km event.
